BIOGRAPHY

[Personality]

[ESFP | Shameless | Meddlesome | Impulsive | Eloquent | Vivacious | Vulnerable | Naive]

Seijin is the kind of person that disregards the situation when talking, more than anything, what matters to him is the ability to be able to express his opinion even if it was unnecessary. His straightforwardness often comes off as offending towards people who aren’t very familiar with him. This loosely pragmatic personality turned Seijin into an infamous figure as well, as a common subject of rumors, back in his junior year. He was never isolated, however. Although he is brash and highly opinionated in his word choice, his earnestness also served a part of his charm. He likes to share long conversations with every person he meets. Above everything, he likes making people around him feel at ease, although his overly lively nature may seem annoying to them as well. Despite this largely positive perspective, he has weak tendencies as well especially when it came to the topic of his mother. He always sought to be acknowledged by his mother and has made it a goal to find her and have her reunited with them as a family although he denies this by saying he wants her to feel sorry about leaving them and ignoring them for the past seven years of their lives.

[History]

Born and raised in the bustling part of the city, Seijin had grown used to the noise of it; the racing shinkansen, the blaring pop music, the whistle of the local law enforcement. His father was proud of being one of them. He was a regular yet reputable policeman whose fairly good salary helped him send his son to a fairly average university, how can he not be any more proud? Unlike his wife, he never left Seijin. While his mother was never present, his father raised him alone all those years. Seijin’s mother worked as a television show producer. She and Seijin’s father had a divorce shortly after he turned nine, thinking that her son would only be a nuisance on her blossoming career. The life in which Seijin’s mother lived was separate from theirs since then. Nevertheless, Seijin never held a grudge against her, if anything, he wanted to come and see her every day.

Seijin often came by her mother’s workplace, sometimes asking the guards if he could see her albeit he already knew the answer, but mostly he just scanned the windows to see if he could find at least a glimpse of her back. He loved his mother like any child would, but nothing would soften the heart of his stone cold mother. Around that time, Seijin had been an outcast on elementary school. He rarely participated in the class and ignored after school club activities. But it was also around that time that a new classmate transferred to their school.

She was modest and was not very intelligent but optimistic and bubbly. Although the two didn’t become very close immediately, it was in one way or another, a good help for Seijin to regain the energy he’s lost after desperately chasing after the mother who barely cared about him. He regarded her as competition and eventually a good friend. With that friendship, many more blossomed and before he knew it, he found himself surrounded by wonderful people. He was never alone.

Through this realization, Seijin felt the courage to make a name for himself. As soon as Seijin entered middle school, he became well-known for his skills on writing, a quality he likely gained from his equally eloquent mother. He joined the school paper as a regular writer on his own column. It was around that time that he began dreaming of becoming a television personality, one that would shame his mother for leaving them many years ago.

Near the end of his second year in high school, however, Seijin's father was demoted off his investigative team and was stationed as a patrol policeman at a much further district; the very heart of the gloomy city of Seiiki. They had but little choice but to move on a smaller apartment, and Seijin had to leave his friends at such short notice.

MISC.

[Points] 500

[Part Time Job] cashier at a local fast food chain

[Trivia]

He was often mocked as “priest” by his high school colleagues due to both his preachy personality and his surname (Keisai is a rare surname in Japan and is most commonly attributed to Buddhist Monks due to the meaning of its Chinese origin)

He has a terribly desperate sense of humor. Tends to overdo his own lame jokes

His favorite snack is shaved ice cream.

He’s fairly skilled at impersonating famous personalities.

Is actually pretty obsessed with taking care of his physique, especially his skin and his face. Takes at least one selfie a day.

[Relationships]
